About the role

Facility: Southwest General Health Center, Middleburg Heights, OH

Location: 18697 Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts

Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Gross Pay: $2,409

Blended Hourly Rate: $64.03

Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,729 (included in weekly gross pay; eligibility requirements apply)


Job Description

Bluebix Health is seeking an experienced Travel/Local Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night-shift contract at Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced respiratory therapist with previous travel experience who is comfortable providing respiratory care to newborns and infants during Code Pink emergencies.


Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care and treatment to patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Assess respiratory status and monitor patient responses to treatment.
  • Operate and manage respiratory care equipment and provide appropriate respiratory support.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including Code Pink events involving newborns and infants.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow facility protocols and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience.
  • Previous travel healthcare assignment experience is required.
  • Current NBRC credentials.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
  • Must be comfortable, willing, and able to respond to Code Pink emergencies involving newborns and infants.
  • Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays.
