Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a healthcare team in Hackensack, NJ. The ideal candidate will have recent respiratory therapy experience, strong ICU experience, and hands-on ventilator management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to adult patients in ICU and intermediate care settings.
• Manage and monitor ventilators and other respiratory therapy equipment.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and implement appropriate respiratory care interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Float between adult ICU units, Intermediate Care, and the Basic Intermediate Care floor as needed.

Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license/credentials.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience working as a licensed RRT.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience.
• Previous hands-on ventilator experience is required.
• Must be willing to float to adult ICU areas, Intermediate Care, and Basic Intermediate Care.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
