MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) - Rochester, NY

We are hiring an MRI Technologist in Rochester, NY to perform diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams. Several shifts are open, including night shift, weekend, evening, and day shift schedules, so you can choose the one that fits your life.

Available MRI Technologist shifts and weekly pay

• Night shift: 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 PM-6:00 AM. $4,032 per week
• Weekend shift: Friday-Sunday, 9:00 AM-9:30 PM. $3,752 per week
• Also open: Weekend Block days, Evening shifts, and Day shifts [add pay or “pay varies by shift”]

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans of the brain, spine, joints, and body per physician orders, with and without contrast
• Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants, metal, and claustrophobia
• Position patients, select scan protocols, and optimize image quality
• Explain procedures to patients and keep them comfortable during imaging
• Maintain MRI safety zones and follow radiology, HIPAA, and infection control standards
• Document exams accurately in [RIS/PACS system]

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology or MRI program
• [ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent, confirm requirement]
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong patient care and communication skills
