Job Description:

We are hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an excellent opportunity in Geneva, NY. Candidates must be committed to providing quality nursing care to adult and geriatric residents in a safe, supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Monitor residents’ physical and psychosocial conditions and communicate significant findings to the RN and interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Contribute to individualized care plans based on residents’ age-specific needs, nursing diagnoses, and desired outcomes.
• Evaluate resident responses to care and recommend updates to care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain clinical competency through continuing education, in-service training, and adherence to nursing policies and procedures.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment while handling blood and other potentially infectious materials.

Requirements:

• Active LPN license required.
• Experience providing care to adult and geriatric populations.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, patient assessment, and individualized care planning.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills.
• Ability to work the assigned shift.
