Job Description

Finger Lakes Health – Geneva General Hospital is hiring Environmental Services Aides to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and other facility areas.
• Follow infection-control and workplace safety procedures.
• Properly use cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Dispose of waste according to facility policies.
• Work effectively with the Environmental Services team.
• Help maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow safety and infection-control procedures.
• Willingness to work day or evening shifts.
